Abstract
|

|
1. Automatic suturing instruments decrease operative time and morbidity.
2. Stapling can make surgery neater, and more accurate.
3. A review of 224 women undergoing abdominal hysterctomy suggests that placing absorbable staples on the vaginal cuff offers many advantages for patients, surgeon, and operating room personel than 136 cases undergoing vaginal cuff closure by
traditional techniques using chromic absorbable sutures.
